The three communal baths and the private-hire bath are equipped with baby baths, baby chairs, water thermometers and baby shampoo, so babies and young children can bathe. On the 4th floor there is a wood-play area produced by the Hanamaki Toy Museum. Alongside Good Toys, children can play in the original Hittsukimushi Tunnel, and there is a picture-book lending corner as well. It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., and a guardian must be present.

Musubino Yado Airinkan is an onsen ryokan in Shin-Namari Onsen in Hanamaki, Iwate. Three hot-spring sources of its own fill 17 baths, and the ryokan was certified as a Welcome Baby Inn by Miki House Child Care Research Institute in 2012. Facilities for families with babies are extensive, including dedicated baby futons, unlimited diaper changes, baby food, and baby items in the communal baths and the private-hire bath, alongside a wood-play area and summer-vacation events for children. Dinner can be taken as in-room dining or at the buffet-style Satoyama Dining, and children's rates are set by age.
Rooms
There are around 11 room types to choose from, centered on the main building's Tsuki Kanmuri and the new building's Hana Kanmuri. The most affordable, the Hana Kanmuri 6-tatami room (19 sq m, for 1-2 guests), is a compact room with an en-suite bathroom and toilet. The standard type, the Tsuki Kanmuri 12-tatami room (38.7 sq m, for 2-6 guests), is of typical size. All rooms with beds use Simmons beds. The Hana Kanmuri room with an onsen open-air bath (67.7 sq m, for 2-6 guests) lets you use an onsen open-air bath in the room and is limited to 4 rooms. The top-level special room with an onsen open-air bath (139.3 sq m, limited to 1 room) is not available for stays with children of elementary school age or younger, or for groups. All rooms have been non-smoking since April 2023.
Dining
For dinner you can choose between in-room dining (up to 4 guests including children; parties of 5 or more are seated in a private venue) and the buffet-style Satoyama Dining (43 tables and 140 seats, with baby chairs), among other options, and breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet at Satoyama Dining. Children's meals are set by age: elementary school children (ages 6-12) receive a children's set meal plus futon bedding; preschool-age children (ages 2-6) choose between a kids' meal plate plus futon bedding or the meal only; children ages 1-2 choose between futon bedding only or no meal and no futon bedding; and age 0 is free of charge. Baby food at dinner (rice porridge, freshly set tofu, corn soup, pumpkin, sweet potato, yogurt and grated apple) costs 2,200 yen and must be requested at least 3 days in advance; at breakfast, Kewpie baby food is also available, and you may bring your own. Low-allergen children's set meals and kids' meal plates can be arranged with at least 3 days' notice. Guests with allergies who give notice at least 3 days in advance receive menu changes and other accommodations wherever possible.

Three hot-spring sources of its own can be enjoyed across three communal baths - Kawa no Yu, Yama no Yu and Mori no Yu - with 17 baths in all. Kawa no Yu has an indoor bath, a 90-centimeter-deep bath with built-in seating, a rock open-air bath, and a ceramic bath with 100% free-flowing spring water. The private-hire bath Chappun gives a family exclusive use of 2 tubs, an indoor bath and a semi-open-air ceramic bath, at 2,200 yen per 45-minute session on weekdays and 2,750 yen on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The communal baths and the private-hire bath are equipped with baby baths, baby chairs, water thermometers and baby shampoo, so babies and young children can bathe. The changing rooms have diaper pails and diaper-changing sheets. Under Iwate Prefecture regulations, mixed bathing by males and females aged 7 and over is prohibited, so children of that age and over can bathe only with a same-sex guardian. The building is not completely barrier-free, and there are steps at room entrances and in the bathing areas and restrooms.
Access
A free shuttle bus is available from Shin-Hanamaki Station and Hanamaki Station, with reservations required at least 3 days in advance. From September 1, 2026, a one-way shuttle contribution of 100 yen will be required for ages 3 and over; ages 2 and under ride free. Parking holds 200 vehicles and is free of charge.
