Note that some rooms (the triple, the 5-bed room and the 15-tatami Japanese-style tatami room among them) have no bath or shower. Bed guards are available to borrow, though quantities are limited.

Dinner and breakfast are both served buffet-style, with dishes made from Iwate ingredients alongside crab, steak and desserts. The dining venue has children's chairs, tableware, paper bibs and strollers, so families with young children can eat with peace of mind. Children eat from the same buffet as adults.
Baths and Onsen
Guests staying at Hotel Koyokan may also use the communal baths at the neighboring Hotel Senshukaku and Hotel Hanamaki as they please, bathing their way around all three hotels. The water is a simple onsen, mild and gentle on the body, so children can bathe comfortably. Both the men's and women's communal baths have a baby bed, a baby bath and a baby chair. The neighboring Hotel Hanamaki also has a private-hire onsen bath for a fee (3,300 yen for 45 minutes), where a family can enjoy the onsen on their own.
