Kurhaus is a heated pool used in swimwear, an onsen water-exercise facility with a reclining bath, a jacuzzi and a walking pool. Small children may use it as long as they wear a diaper that can get wet (a swim diaper). Swimsuits can also be rented for 500 yen.

A 7 m x 20 m outdoor pool on the roof of the Wellness Wing, open in summer only from mid-July through the end of August. Children and adults alike can use it, and it operates in two sessions, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. the following morning, though the hours vary by year. You can also use it before check-in.

Every room here is a 2- or 3-bedroom layout of more than 120 sq m, with a Japanese-style tatami room, Western-style bedrooms, a kitchen, a bath and a toilet, giving families plenty of space to spread out. Rooms accommodate up to 7 guests, including children aged 4 and under, so they suit family trips and groups alike. The natural onsen communal baths alternate between men and women, each stocked with a baby bath, and there is no age restriction on bathing. With a rooftop garden pool open in summer and a heated pool that children can enter wearing a swim diaper, it is a place where families can settle in for a long stay.
Rooms
Every room is a spacious 2- or 3-bedroom layout measuring 120 sq m. Along with a living room, each has a Japanese-style tatami room (8 tatami mats), one or two Western-style bedrooms, a kitchen, a bath and a toilet, plus a microwave and a refrigerator. Rooms accommodate up to 7 guests, including children up to age 4. Standard Rooms have 2 to 4 single beds. The Asian Big Suite has one double bed in the living room and another in the bedroom, and the 3-bedroom type adds 2 single beds. Mama's Room & Daddy's Room has 2 custom-made extra-large beds, each 240 cm wide. Its walls, floors and even the furniture are designed with children's safety and comfort in mind, and it comes with baby amenities and a formula-preparation machine. Standard Rooms do not have a humidifier, DVD player or massage chair, while all other rooms have an air purifier with a humidifying function. There are 3 rooms set aside for guests with pets, each taking up to one small dog or cat measuring 60 cm or less in length and weighing 10 kg or less.

Dinner is a buffet of Japanese and Western dishes alongside authentic Chinese cuisine, served in two seatings starting at 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Breakfast is a buffet from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Children under 4 are asked to share portions from the adult meal, and neither private dining rooms nor in-room dining is available. Children's rates are 70% of the adult rate for elementary school children (with meals and bedding); 50% of the adult rate for children who have not yet started elementary school, ages 4 to 6 (with meals and bedding); and a 2,200 yen facility-use fee for 3-year-olds (with bedding). There is no charge for children ages 0 to 2, for whom meals and bedding are not provided. The buffet labels the 8 specified allergenic ingredients, and a low-allergen menu has been offered for stays from July 1, 2025. Late at night, Kyoritsu Resort's signature yonaki soba (late-night noodles) is served free of charge from 11 p.m. to midnight, while supplies last.

The natural onsen is a weakly alkaline simple onsen, and you can enjoy it in two communal baths that alternate between men and women: Tenku no Yu, with hinoki-wood and rock baths, and Shiki no Yu, built of marble. Both have indoor baths and saunas. There is no age restriction on bathing, and each bath has a baby bath on hand for washing small children. Under guidance from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, children ages 7 and over cannot bathe with the opposite sex. There is no private-hire bath, and day-use bathing is not offered. Towels and bath towels are not stocked at the communal baths, so bring them from your room.
Family-Friendly Touches
Cribs are available to borrow, but the number is limited, so please inquire in advance. Children's samue (a two-piece indoor outfit) is also provided, and guests can move around the entire property in it, including to the restaurant and the communal bath areas. Board games such as The Game of Life, Othello and playing cards can be borrowed free of charge to use in your room. Cooking equipment such as pots, frying pans and tableware is also available to borrow, with a fee for some items. There are no barrier-free rooms, but 2 wheelchairs are available to borrow free of charge for use on the property.

It is about 10 minutes by car, or roughly 1,200 to 1,400 yen by taxi, and 10 to 15 minutes on foot from Minami-Ito Station. Parking is available for 50 cars at 1,000 yen per night, limited to one car per room.
