Daitokan is an onsen inn in a quiet residential neighborhood in Ito, Shizuoka, where every bath is fed 100% from the source. Alongside communal baths separated for men and women, there are 3 free private-hire baths that need no reservation, so whenever one is open the family can bathe on their own. The inn has 29 rooms in total, mainly Japanese-style tatami rooms of 10 tatami mats plus Western-style rooms, special rooms and a detached room; in the rooms that come with a bath, the in-room bath is onsen as well. Dinner is not served, and breakfast is a Western-style menu offered free of charge. It is a 12-minute walk from JR Ito Station, and free parking is available.

The inn has 29 rooms in all: 4 special rooms, 22 Japanese-style tatami rooms of 10 tatami mats, 2 Western-style bedrooms and 1 detached room. Every room has a toilet with a bidet function. In rooms that come with a bath, such as the special rooms and the 10-tatami Japanese-style tatami rooms, the in-room bath is onsen as well. The Western-style bedrooms and the detached room have no bath, so guests go to the baths in the new building. The building is earthquake-resistant and also soundproofed, so sound from the room next door is barely audible. Futons are laid out before check-in, which makes co-sleeping with a small child easier. Many of the accommodation plans have child rates.

Stays are on a one-night, breakfast-included basis, and dinner is not served. Breakfast is provided free of charge and is a simple Western-style menu: toast, 7 vegetable items such as shredded cabbage, bacon or chicken, scrambled eggs, soup, coffee, tea, juice, milk and jelly. There is no Japanese-style breakfast, and it is served between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. For dinner, the inn can point you to places to eat nearby, and you are free to bring food into your room, where you can use the room's refrigerator and the microwave in the lobby.
