A crib (1,265 yen per night, for children who cannot yet pull themselves up to stand), a baby bath (for babies under 3 months old), a sterilizing set for baby bottles and similar items (free of charge), and children's pajamas and slippers are available to borrow. A kids' amenity set (cup, toothbrush and towel) is available for 500 yen, and the front desk also lends picture books, playing cards and similar items. Strollers can be borrowed at the bell captain's desk on the 1st floor of the Main Building, free for the first 4 hours from the start of use and 500 yen per stroller after that. Bed guards are also available to borrow free of charge.

There is a children's pool, and because the water is 130 cm deep, children whose feet do not reach the bottom and children under elementary school age must be accompanied by a guardian. Guests are asked to refrain from using beach balls, boats and floats larger than the child's height. Children's rates are set for staying guests, covering ages 4 through elementary school. Advance reservations are required.

Overview

Kobe Portopia Hotel is a large 737-room city resort hotel on Kobe's Port Island. On the 7th floor of the South Building, the Japanese-Western room with a kids' space combines a 10-tatami Japanese-style tatami room with a playroom, including play equipment from BorneLund. Cribs, baby baths and baby-bottle sterilizing sets are available to borrow, and there are nursing rooms and diaper-changing spaces, so families are well looked after. The restaurants offer kids' menus and can also prepare baby food. There is an outdoor pool in summer and an indoor pool open year-round.

Kobe Portopia Hotel is a large city hotel on Kobe's Port Island, with 737 rooms across the Main Building and the South Building. Parking costs 1,000 yen per night for staying guests, or 4,000 yen for stays of 4 nights or more, with no reservation required and free in-and-out access until 2 p.m. on the departure day.
