The Tatami Twin (Japanese-Western room) is 32 sq m, a tatami room laid out with two 110 cm-wide semi-double beds; adding two Japanese-style futons brings the bedding to four people's worth. On top of that you can add one co-sleeping child of elementary school age or under per bed, so a family of up to 6 can stay. The Tatami Twin has a separate bathroom, toilet and washbasin, so getting the children ready is less likely to overlap with bath time. The Deluxe Double Room has one queen-size bed plus a sofa used as a bed, for up to 3 guests. In the other room types too, one co-sleeping child of elementary school age or under can be added per bed, beyond the stated capacity. There is no free shuttle bus from the airport. By car it is 15 minutes from the Matsumoto IC on the Chuo Expressway, and the automated multi-level parking garage adjoining the hotel (capacity 44 vehicles: 12 standard cars and 32 high-roof vehicles) is offered at 1,200 yen per night on a first-come, first-served basis, with no advance reservations. If it is full, or if your vehicle is larger than the sizes it can take, a nearby affiliated parking lot is offered at the same rate. The main entrance sits alongside Gusto, and the front desk is on the second floor. Check-in is from 2 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next morning and checkout is at 11 a.m., with a free extension to 12 p.m. for Richmond Club members and guests on eligible plans.
