On a three-day, two-night request plan, you can choose from pottery (Kazuwa ware), blacksmithing (making a paper knife) and weaving (Kurayoshi kasuri ikat). The experiences run year-round. Blacksmithing is for ages 6 and over, and up to 2 people can take part in the weaving experience at the same time.

Kazeno Kurayoshi is an 11-room dispersed hotel set in cultural-property residences in Kurayoshi's district of white-walled storehouses. The rooms are split between two buildings, Ogawa-ke and Kota-ke, and include rooms created within the storehouses as well as rooms with an extra bed that suit families. Children can stay from age 0, and co-sleeping is available up to age 6. Dinner is a choice of a hot pot course or French cuisine, and some rooms have a Towada stone bath. Because these are historic buildings, the property is not barrier-free and there are stairs and changes in floor level.
Rooms
The 11 rooms are split between two buildings: Ogawa-ke, a protected cultural property designated by the prefecture, and Kota-ke, a nationally registered tangible cultural property. Ogawa-ke holds 6 rooms and the front desk, while Kota-ke holds 5 rooms and the dining room. The 126.5 sq m suite in the main house (sleeps 5, with 1 extra bed) is not recommended for children. Other rooms suit family stays, such as the 66.8 sq m room (sleeps 3, with 1 extra bed) and the 46-56 sq m maisonettes created within the storehouses (sleep 2). Rooms 8 to 11 in Kota-ke each have two beds measuring 120 cm wide by 195 cm long and 49 cm high. Co-sleeping is available up to age 6, with up to one child per semi-double bed resting alongside an adult. Because the aim is to preserve these historic buildings, insulation and airtightness are not high, and there are no televisions, clocks or bright lights in the rooms.
Dining
Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with last orders at 9 a.m., and centers on Kurayoshi vegetables and fruit along with yogurt. Dinner is served from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with last orders at 8 p.m., and you choose between a hot pot course made with satoyama dashi broth and a full French course. Meals are not served as room service, but the minibar drinks can be enjoyed freely. Meals accommodating allergies can be arranged, though please confirm what is possible in advance.
Baths
Each room has a bath and toilet, and some rooms have a Towada stone bath. There is no communal bath, no private-hire bath, no onsen and no room with an open-air bath, so bathing with your children means using the bath in your room.
