Overview

Kashikiri Onsen no Condominium Grand View Atami is a condominium hotel a 7-minute walk from Atami Station and a 3-minute walk from Atami Sun Beach. Every room has a mini kitchen, and there are 7 private-hire onsen baths that guests can use as often as they like, free of charge, whenever one is free. The semi-open-air baths have shallow tubs, making them easy to get into for babies and expectant mothers. Family-friendly room types include 2LDK layouts and connecting rooms. Elementary school children receive 20% off the adult rate, and children ages 0 to 2 stay free if no bedding, towels or similar items are requested. There are steps and steep stairs, and barrier-free facilities are not fully in place.

Rooms

The 2LDK Japanese-Western room with views of the sea and fireworks (52.6 sq m, 1-5 guests) combines a Japanese-style tatami room and a Western-style room with a living-dining-kitchen area, making it a spacious choice for groups and family trips. The 8.5-tatami Standard Japanese-style tatami room (22 sq m, 1-4 guests) is a reasonably priced 1K layout with a mini kitchen, roomy enough for families and small groups. For larger families, there is also a connecting room made up of two Japanese-style tatami rooms joined from the inside (50 sq m, 2-6 guests). Every room has a mini kitchen, bathroom and toilet, along with cooking utensils and tableware, so simple cooking is easy even with young children. Note that futons are generally not laid out or put away for you, and housekeeping is generally not provided during your stay; the style is more like staying in a rental holiday house.

Dining

Several meal plans are available, including plans with dinner and breakfast and plans with in-room dining. You can also cook for yourself in the kitchen in any room, bringing your own ingredients and seasonings. A Japanese and Western light-meal buffet for children ages 3 and over costs 1,800 yen per person and must be reserved by phone or noted when you apply for breakfast. Depending on the plan, dinner may not be served to children who have not yet started elementary school, and their breakfast may be the light-meal buffet.

Baths and Onsen

There is no shared communal bath. Instead, the property has a rooftop open-air bath with views, separated for men and women, and several private-hire onsen baths. There are 7 private-hire onsen baths in the building, and guests can use them as often as they like, free of charge, whenever one is free. They are available from 3 p.m. to midnight and from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with each use lasting about 45 minutes. The semi-open-air baths have shallow tubs and roomy washing areas, so they are easy to get into for babies and expectant mothers. Because they are private-hire, families with young children can enjoy the onsen without worrying about other guests.

Family-Friendly Details

Elementary school children receive 20% off the adult rate. For children ages 3 and over who have not yet started elementary school, a separate facility fee may apply, and children ages 0 to 2 stay free if no bedding or towels are requested. Children ages 0 to 2 are not counted in the number of guests on the booking. Under a limited-period family plan (June 23 to September 30, 2026, for 3 or more guests per room), children ages 5 and under stay free, or 1,000 yen per child per night if they use bedding, elementary school children pay half price, and parking is free for one car per room. There are steps and steep stairs inside the building and barrier-free facilities are limited, so please take care when moving around with a stroller.
