Rooms
This traditional house is rented as a whole - the entire detached building is yours. It measures 170 square meters and sleeps 1 to 9 guests. The first floor has a large earthen-floor doma area, a kamado wood-fired stove, two toilets with bidet seats, four 8-tatami Japanese-style rooms, a fitted kitchen with an induction cooktop, an en-suite bathroom, a goemonburo (a traditional iron soaking tub), an outdoor bath and a washbasin area. The second floor has two Western-style rooms, a living area, one toilet and a washbasin area. There are four bedrooms in all, with 15 futons and floor mattresses between them, so two or more families can stay together. The tatami rooms also make an easy place to put small children down to sleep.
Dining
The stay is room-only, with no breakfast or dinner served. The fitted kitchen with an induction cooktop on the first floor comes with cooking utensils, a microwave, a refrigerator, a stove and tableware, so you can cook for yourselves. Outdoors there is a kamado wood-fired stove, which can also be used to bake pizza. The garden has a barbecue area where you can grill as well.
Baths
There are three kinds of bath - an en-suite bathroom, a goemonburo and an outdoor bath - making three bathrooms in total, with three bathtubs. Because the house is rented to one group a day, you bathe as a family without sharing with other guests.

The house suits ages 0 to 12, and child rates are available. With only one group staying per day in the whole house, families have the place to themselves and need not worry about other guests. This is a full self-service property, and no staff are stationed on site.
