Hotel Green Plaza Kamogawa

A 27 sq m room combining a tatami area with a king-size low bed. Picture books, toys, stuffed animals, a drawing board and a DVD player are provided, and a roller blind divides the tatami side from the bed side, so parents can keep some time to themselves after the children are asleep. There are only 3 of these rooms, and they are booked by phone.

A first-floor communal bath fed by a weakly alkaline sodium chloride cold mineral spring, recirculated and heated. It has no windows, but both the men's and women's changing rooms and bathing areas are stocked with baby items, making it easy to use for the youngest onsen-goers. Day-use bathing is also available from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

An outdoor pool on the hotel grounds. It measures 18 m by 10 m and is up to 1.2 m deep, an adult size, so it is recommended that children use safety flotation gear such as a ring float or arm bands and be accompanied by a guardian. The changing rooms for the pool are the communal bath's changing rooms. Free for staying guests.

A buffet in the ocean-view restaurant, lined with the flavors of the Boso Peninsula: sushi, sashimi of local fish, steamed shellfish, cake and fruit. A kids' menu, a baby food corner and baby spoons are provided, so the whole family can eat with peace of mind.

On the rocky shore just outside the hotel, children can meet sea creatures such as crabs and small fish. Shirosaki Beach is about a 2-minute walk away, and you can change into your swimsuit in your room and head straight there. If you play on the rocks before check-in, the communal bath's changing room is available to change in afterward.

A free coin laundry at the far end of the first-floor corridor. It is open 24 hours and has 7 washing machines and 10 dryers. Detergent can be bought at the shop.
