Grand View Iwai is a condominium-style hotel with a kitchen in every room, a 1-minute walk from Iwai Beach in Minamiboso, Chiba. On the top floor, the 12th, is Chukuu no Yu, a communal bath with a view. Every room is condominium-style, with a kitchen, cooking utensils and tableware, so you can bring in ingredients and cook for yourselves. No seasonings are provided. Only the Bath View Room has a compact kitchen, so simple cooking is recommended there. The Grand View Room is a Japanese-Western room with two bedrooms plus a living-dining-kitchen area: an 8-tatami-mat Western-style room, a 6-tatami-mat Japanese-style tatami room and a 20-mat living-dining-kitchen, for 2 to 6 guests. Its size is 70 sq m. The Ocean View Japanese-style tatami room is 30 sq m, with an 8-tatami-mat room and a 7.5-mat dining-kitchen, and sleeps up to 5. The Standard Japanese-style tatami room on the lower floors is also 30 sq m, with an 8-tatami-mat room and a 7.5-mat dining-kitchen, sleeping up to 5. The Ocean View Western-style twin room and the rooms with a semi-open-air bath with a view (limited to 4 rooms) are 30 sq m and sleep up to 2. The lower-floor Standard rooms include connecting rooms; if you want them guaranteed, a designation fee of 1,000 yen per room per night applies.

Dinner is served in your room. It comes with the dinner-inclusive plans, and room-only and breakfast-only plans are also available. The Japanese set meal with a funamori (a boat-shaped sashimi platter) and the dinner comparing Kuroge Wagyu and Chiba Senba beef are delivered to your room between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.; staff do not serve the dishes at your table.
