The rooms are simple Japanese-style tatami rooms with generous windows, giving sweeping views of the Kii Channel and the sea at Wakanoura. The standard rooms comprise 6 sea-facing Japanese-style tatami rooms of 8 to 10 tatami mats, 12 sea-facing Japanese-Western rooms of 10 to 12 tatami mats with 2 beds, and 1 sea-facing Japanese-Western room of 15 tatami mats with 2 beds; the Japanese-Western types were renovated in 2023 and have twin beds. Rooms are on floors 2 to 5, and the floor cannot be specified. For families there are two-room suites. The in-room open-air bath in Two-Room Suite Type B can be used from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. the next morning and from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the in-room open-air baths and indoor baths are not fed by the hot spring. Two-Room Suite Type C has a sea-facing 10-tatami Japanese-style room plus a 10-tatami Japanese-style room with twin beds, and there is a single step between the tatami room and the bedroom. Two-Room Suite Type D has a sea-facing 15-tatami Japanese-style room plus a 12-tatami Japanese-Western room with twin beds; open the sliding partition doors and it becomes a single space equivalent to about 27 tatami mats, and it has the finest view of any room at Futagojimaso. Two-Room Suites A through D, as well as the 15-tatami corner Japanese-Western room, are limited to one room each. Dinner and breakfast are both served in the dining venue as standard. For dinner, the rate category for children in the upper grades of elementary school is a Japanese kaiseki meal for children, reduced in portion size and number of dishes from the adult kaiseki, while the rate category for children from preschool age through the lower grades of elementary school is a kids' meal with fried dishes and the like. 30 minutes by car from the Wakayama IC on the Hanwa Expressway, or 10 minutes by taxi from Wakayamako Station on the Nankai Main Line. The free shuttle to the ryokan departs at 2 p.m. from the East Exit of JR Wakayama Station and at 2:20 p.m. from in front of Nankai Wakayamashi Station (both near a 7-Eleven), with the return service leaving at 10 a.m. along the reverse route. As a rule it must be reserved at least 3 days in advance, and it does not run without a reservation. Requests for a shuttle to the nearest bus stop, Saikazaki Yuen, are accepted at any time. Parking is free for 60 cars on a first-come, first-served basis. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m. The latest check-in is 7 p.m. for stays with one night and two meals, or 9 p.m. for stays without dinner; if you will be later than that, please let the ryokan know in advance. There are no shops in the immediate area, and the nearest restaurants, convenience stores and supermarkets are all about 10 minutes away by car. The shop inside the ryokan (7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.) sells snacks and ice cream.
