The Premium Japanese-Western Twin with jacuzzi in Sakura-kan is 42 sq m with a bath and toilet and sleeps 3 guests; when 3 people stay, one of them sleeps on futon bedding in the tatami area. The Japanese-Western room with shower and balcony is 35 sq m including the balcony, and the Japanese-Western room is 30 sq m; both sleep 3 guests. The beds are semi-double, measuring 1,200 mm wide by 2,000 mm deep, and in the Japanese-Western rooms the two beds can be pushed together. Miyama-kan has a 12-tatami Japanese-style tatami room with a bath and a 10-tatami Japanese-style tatami room, sleeping 6 and 5 guests respectively, so a family who wants to sleep side by side will find the tatami rooms an easy choice. The 12-tatami tatami room comes with a bath, which is welcome news for families with young children. The Premium Western Twin with jet bath in Sakura-kan is a universal-design Western-style room with a wide doorway and toilet door and no steps inside. Every room has an air purifier with a humidifying function.

Dinner is served in the restaurant and breakfast in the dining room; in-room dining is not available. Hours are noon to midnight and 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. The official FAQ states that children may use the bath of the opposite sex up to age 6, and that children aged 7 and over may not. The communal bath page, however, gives the age limit for mixed bathing under the local ordinance as roughly age 8 and over, so if your child is around 7, please check in advance. The early-morning walk starts at 7 a.m. every day, is open to ages 3 and up and is free to join; the stargazing session every Monday and Thursday is free (making a planisphere costs 300 yen); and Japanese sweets making every Tuesday and Friday costs 500 yen per piece. There is also a soy sauce making experience every Wednesday (1,200 yen, ages 4 and up) and paint lantern making on Saturdays (1,500 yen, ages 4 and up). On set dates in October and November there is a mandarin orange picking tour with staff, costing 1,600 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children up to elementary school age, with applications due by noon 3 days before your stay. The pool that used to be in the main building closed after the summer of 2019.
