Overview

FORZA Hotel Nagasaki occupies floors 4 through 11 of the HAMACROSS 411 commercial building, inside Hamamachi Arcade, Nagasaki's busiest shopping district. It is a 1-minute walk from the Kankodori tram stop, and Shinchi Chinatown and Meganebashi Bridge are also within walking distance. Every twin room has a bathroom and toilet in separate spaces, with a washing area beside the tub, making it easy to bathe with young children. Children of elementary school age and under stay free when co-sleeping, and breakfast is free for children who have not yet started elementary school. There is no communal bath or onsen.

Rooms

The hotel has 175 rooms in a range of types, from singles and twins to deluxe doubles. The Single Room is 16.8 sq m with a bed 120 cm wide, and the Forza Double is a standard room of 18 sq m with a bed 140 cm wide. The Healing Double, built around a theme of relaxation, is 19.7 sq m with a bed 140 cm wide and comes with a massage chair. The Deluxe Double is 25.7 sq m with a king-size bed 180 cm wide, comfortable for families as well as couples, and its bathroom and toilet are in separate spaces. The Refresh Twin is 24.7 sq m and the Relax Twin is 26.0 sq m; both have two beds 110 cm wide and a bathroom and toilet in separate spaces. The Refresh Twin gives groups and families room to spread out, and with the sofa bed it can sleep up to 3 guests. All rooms are non-smoking, and an extra bed is not available.

Dining

Breakfast is served on the 4th floor from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and costs 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for elementary school children. Children who have not yet started elementary school eat free. The buffet takes pride in its local menu, which celebrates Nagasaki's food culture with specialties such as champon noodles, sara udon and Nagasaki castella sponge cake. Baby food and formula are not available.

There is no communal bath or onsen at the hotel. In the Deluxe Double, Refresh Twin and Relax Twin room types, the bathroom and toilet are in separate spaces. Every twin room has this layout along with a washing area beside the tub, so parents can bathe with young children with peace of mind.

Because the hotel sits inside the arcade, you can shop and eat without getting wet on rainy days. There is no hotel parking; guests use nearby paid affiliated parking, which costs roughly 1,000 to 1,200 yen per night. Check-in is at 2 p.m. and checkout at 11 a.m., and luggage can be stored for guests who arrive before 2 p.m.
