Overview
The Global View Nagasaki is a city hotel about a 7-minute walk from the West Exit of JR Nagasaki Station, in a handy spot right by a tram stop. Alongside its 184 guest rooms, an artificial hot-spring communal bath called Takara no Yu and a sauna opened in March 2025. Cribs are available to borrow free of charge, and co-sleeping is available up to age 12. The Japanese-style tatami rooms with a hinoki-wood bath sleep 1 to 4 guests and are recommended for families.
Rooms
The hotel has 184 rooms in total: doubles, twins, junior suites and Japanese-style tatami rooms. Double rooms are 25.5-30 sq m with one bed 160-180 cm wide by 200 cm long. Twin rooms are 30 sq m with two beds 120 cm by 200 cm, and an extra bed is prepared when 3 guests stay. Junior suites are 49.6-52.8 sq m for 1 to 3 guests. The Japanese-style tatami rooms are 60-67 sq m for 1 to 4 guests; they have been renovated into a contemporary style with carpet and beds, and the hinoki-wood bath is still there to use. Checkout in the Japanese-style rooms can be extended to 12 noon free of charge, which leaves families with small children plenty of time to get ready in the morning. Every room has an air purifier with a humidifying function.
Dining
Breakfast is a Japanese-Western buffet: 2,500 yen for adults, 1,500 yen for elementary school children, and free for children who have not yet started elementary school. For dinner, the Japanese restaurant Sai serves omakase kaiseki and other courses from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (last order 8:30 p.m.), with 22 seats and no smoking anywhere in the restaurant. Room service is also available from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (last order 9:30 p.m.).
Baths
On the fifth floor are the artificial hot-spring communal bath Takara no Yu and a sauna, which opened in March 2025. The water is made by generating radon artificially and is also known as a bath of beauty and a bath of longevity, said to help promote the metabolism. An artificial strata system makes the water quality easy to adjust, giving a bath that warms you quickly and feels mild. The semi-open-air bath area also has jar baths and a bubble bath. Some accommodation plans carry a note that this is not an onsen: the water is artificially produced rather than a natural hot spring. The bath is open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. the next morning and again early in the morning from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the sauna from 4 p.m. to midnight and from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Towels need to be brought from your room.

From Nagasaki Airport it is about 45 minutes by highway bus, and the hotel is just by the Takaramachi bus stop. The underground parking has 64 spaces at 1,500 yen per night, dropping to 1,000 yen from the second night; hourly parking is 400 yen for the first hour and 200 yen for each additional 30 minutes.
