Sasebo Green Hotel Premier

forumWhat families say

Rakuten Travel rating 4.07 out of 5 (1,982 reviews). Guests report that children who do not like the en-suite bathroom can use the communal bath at the sister hotel free of charge, and they praise how close the hotel is to Sasebo Station, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Families also mention the washing machines and dryers on the roof as handy on a stay with children who need frequent changes of clothes. On the other hand, some guests noted that information about the communal bath was only in the room rather than at the front desk, which made it hard to find.

Overview

Sasebo Green Hotel Premier stands in the center of Sasebo, a 1-minute walk from JR Sasebo Station and the bus center. Rooms range from semi-double to triple, and the triple rooms take 2 to 3 guests. Co-sleeping is allowed only in the twin and triple rooms, for up to 2 children under school age; it is not possible in the other room types. Every room has a Sharp Plasmacluster air purifier with a humidifying function.

Rooms

The room lineup consists of the Semi-Double Room, Compact Double Room, Compact Twin Room, Standard Twin Room, Deluxe Twin Room, Triple Room A and Triple Room B. The Semi-Double Room and the twin rooms have beds 120 cm wide and take 1 to 2 guests, while the double types such as the Compact Double Room have beds 140 cm wide and also take 1 to 2 guests. Every room has a Sharp Plasmacluster air purifier with a humidifying function, so you can keep the air comfortable even in a hotel room that would otherwise feel dry.

Dining

Breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., at seats set around a live fish tank where you can hear the sound of running water. A Japanese set is served on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and a Western set on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, alternating by day. Both breakfast sets include egg dishes and are not prepared to accommodate allergies, so families with a child who has an egg allergy should check with the hotel in advance. Depending on the plan, dinner comes as a small evening set meal of your choice - a seafood rice bowl set, a fried horse mackerel set, a mini grilled eel rice bowl set or a karaage (Japanese fried chicken) set - served at the Japanese restaurant Ikesu Hakataya on the first floor from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with last orders at 9 p.m. Plans with dinner require check-in by 8 p.m.; if you will be later than that, contact the hotel, as dinner cannot be prepared for you.
