Rooms

The Standard Twin (City Side) is 26.1 sq m, with two beds 110 cm wide, and sleeps 1 to 4 guests. The Double rooms, in both the Standard and Superior categories, are 19.6 to 22.4 sq m, with a bed measuring 140 cm wide by 203 cm long, and sleep 1 to 2 guests. The Superior Deluxe Twin is 37.5 sq m for 1 to 3 guests, with an extra bed and a sofa bed. In the Executive category, the Executive Double (City Side) is 19.6 sq m for 1 to 2 guests, while the Executive Twin, Deluxe Twin and Deluxe King are 26.1 to 41.6 sq m for 1 to 3 guests. The Executive Junior Suite (45.7 sq m or 46.8 sq m) and the Executive Suite (52.2 sq m) sleep 1 to 4 guests. The Executive Connecting (City Side), which uses two adjoining twin rooms, sleeps 1 to 6 guests. THE TOP BAR Hanabi on the 28th floor, which Executive room guests can use as one of their room benefits, does not admit guests under 18 after 8 p.m. There is a Universal Room for 1 to 2 guests on the 7th floor. Some rooms can be booked as connecting rooms, and a reservation is required.

Baths

The Superior Double (City Side) has an en-suite bathroom built as a prefabricated unit. The bathrooms in the Superior Deluxe Twin and Superior Deluxe King have a rain shower and a deeper bathtub. The Executive Deluxe King View Bath on the Skytree side (21st to 24th floors, 37.5 sq m, 1 to 3 guests) is a room where you can take in the view from the bathroom. Information on a communal bath is not listed in our information, so please confirm with the hotel.

Dining

Breakfast and dinner are both served in the restaurants; in-room dining is not available. Breakfast is at Sky Grill Buffet Musashi on the 26th floor, at 4,500 yen for adults and 2,600 yen for elementary school children, and free for children from age 0 until they start elementary school. Breakfast cannot be reserved, and guests are seated in order of arrival; it gets busy between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., so you may have to wait.

For food allergies, the hotel makes individual arrangements if you tell them the relevant ingredients at least 5 days before the date of use. At the buffet, if you ask in advance, staff can tell you which specified allergenic ingredients the dishes contain, but because everything is prepared in the same kitchen, the allergy accommodation is not complete. According to the hotel's accommodation plan details, guests with a severe allergy dining at Musashi must get in touch at least 5 days before the stay date, and requests on the day cannot be accommodated. For Musashi's lunch and dinner buffets, the hotel states that allergies cannot be accommodated. Musashi's lunch and dinner have rates for elementary school children and for preschool-age children (ages 3 to 5), with prices that vary by season. The hotel's FAQ says Musashi has a kids' menu, but its contents are not listed in our information.

At lunch, the 27th-floor Chinese restaurant Karakurenai and French restaurant Makie offer children's menus for children of elementary school age and younger: the Junior Special Set at the Chinese restaurant and the Kids' Meal Plate Set at the teppanyaki-style French restaurant, each 3,500 yen per person including tax and service charge. High chairs are available to borrow at Musashi on the 26th floor and at the 27th-floor restaurants, and if you let them know in advance, you can come in with your stroller and keep it with you at your table. The only outside food allowed in the restaurants is baby food for babies and young children.

Family-Friendly Features

Children under school age can co-sleep, and co-sleeping without their own bedding is free of charge. Co-sleeping is limited to one child per bed: up to one child in a double room (one bed) and up to two in a twin room (two beds). Children given their own bed and children of elementary school age and older pay the same rate as adults, unless the plan specifies otherwise. On the Basic Plan and the Early Booking 60 Plan on Ikyu.com (a Japanese booking site), both room-only, babies and young children who need their own bedding are not accepted. When co-sleeping in a twin room, the beds cannot be pushed together; instead, one bed is set close to the wall, which leaves a small gap.

Cribs are free of charge and require a reservation, but the hotel asks that children who can pull themselves up to stand not use them. Because of the room size, a crib cannot be set up in the Fours rooms (4-person rooms). Bed guards and children's amenities such as yukata, slippers and toothbrushes are also free of charge; they are first-come, first-served, so a reservation is required. Toilet-training seats, diaper bins, baby hangers and kids' step stools are also available to borrow. Numbers are limited, so please ask at the front desk. Information on borrowing baby futons is not listed in our information, so please confirm with the hotel. Room equipment includes an air purifier with a humidifying function.

Nursing rooms are inside the women's restroom on the 1st floor and next to the cloakroom on the 4th floor, and their hours of use may be limited. Diaper-changing tables are in the restroom on the 1st floor, the women's restrooms on the 3rd and 4th floors, the women's restroom at Musashi on the 26th floor, and the universal restroom on the 28th floor. The 6th floor has a microwave and a coin-operated laundry for staying guests only.

Pool

Of the facilities at The Club, the members-only fitness center on the 5th floor, the only one staying guests can use is the 20-meter heated pool with a retractable glass roof. Each visit costs 3,300 yen for adults and 2,200 yen for children (elementary school age and under). Children may use the pool only in July and August, until 6 p.m., and must be accompanied by a guardian. Whether swim diapers are allowed is not listed in our information, so please confirm with the hotel. The pool closes at times for maintenance and other reasons, so please check whether it is open.

Access

The hotel is directly connected to Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express. It is a 7-minute walk from Tawaramachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, and a 10-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tobu Skytree Line or the Toei Subway Asakusa Line.
