Tsukioka Onsen Hirosekan Hiten no Ne is a small hot-spring ryokan with 12 rooms in Tsukioka Onsen, Niigata. Every room is a Japanese-style tatami room: there are rooms of 10 to 15 tatami mats with a washlet toilet, rooms with an adjoining antechamber (tsugi-no-ma), and a spacious Japanese-style tatami room, all of which suit families. Rooms
There are 12 guest rooms in all, and every one is a Japanese-style tatami room. The tatami rooms of 10 to 15 mats (with a washlet toilet) sleep 2 to 6 guests, and the size of the room varies with the number of people. The rooms with an adjoining antechamber (tsugi-no-ma) sleep 2 to 4 guests and are on the second floor, and the spacious Japanese-style tatami room also sleeps 2 to 4. There are 30 parking spaces for guests. There is no elevator in the building, only the stairs of the two-story wooden structure, and just 2 rooms are on the first floor. Those first-floor rooms are given first to wheelchair users, guests who have difficulty walking and elderly guests, so a request for one cannot always be met. It helps to expect to move a stroller around and to carry your child up and down the stairs.
