Building 2 has 4 Japanese-style tatami rooms (2 bedrooms and 2 sitting rooms) that borrow the changing scenery of the seasons as their view, and opening the partitions turns them into one spacious area. It has sunken-floor (horigotatsu) seating and a large TV. Occupancy is counted from age 2, up to a maximum of 7 guests; the price is the same flat rate for up to 6 guests, and for 6 or more guests you are asked to inquire about the additional charge per person and similar details before booking. Children under 2 are not counted in the number of guests and co-sleep free of charge. Because these are wooden traditional houses, open flames are strictly prohibited throughout, and the entire property is non-smoking.
Meals and Kitchen
Bread, eggs, juice and milk for breakfast are provided at no charge, and dinner is not served. Whether breakfast is shown as included differs from plan to plan, however, so please confirm when booking. Meals are taken in your room or a private room. Both buildings have a clean, well-kept kitchen with a good range of appliances, cooking utensils and tableware, along with basic seasonings. There is a refrigerator and an electric hot-water kettle; a microwave is available in some cases only and must be reserved. You may bring in your own meals and ingredients, and there is a convenience store and a fast-food shop a 5-minute walk away. A barbecue set with a grill rack, barbecue stand, tongs, table, chairs, paper cups, plates and disposable chopsticks for the number of guests costs 2,000 yen, and a set that also includes charcoal, firelighters and lighting tools costs 3,000 yen; both are paid options.
