The Deluxe Family 6 Bed room lines up six single beds (110 cm wide) across 62 sq m; having six beds in a single room is an unusual layout, so even large families with several children can stay together without splitting up. The Deluxe Fours has two single beds, one extra bed and one sofa bed, so you can stay with young children without being in separate rooms. Standard Fours A is 31 sq m with four single beds, for 1 to 4 guests. Other room types are Standard Single, Standard Twin, Deluxe Twin, Standard Triple and Standard Fours B. Humidifiers are available to borrow. All guest rooms are non-smoking, and there is a smoking booth on the second floor.

Breakfast and dinner are both served in the restaurants; in-room dining is not offered. For dinner there is Aburaya Kumahachi-tei, serving Beppu regional cuisine on the first floor, and the buffet restaurant BEPPU BOLD KITCHEN on the second floor. Elementary school children are served the Kids' Kaiseki for dinner, and children aged 3 to 6 who have not yet started elementary school are served the reservation-only Kids' Castle Set; neither can be added on the day. Children aged 3 to 6 must be booked with meals included. Each restaurant has children's menu items, and at the buffet restaurant children simply choose what they like. As for allergies, Aburaya Kumahachi-tei does not serve dishes with specific allergens removed. The restaurants have no private rooms; there is a tatami room at Kumahachi-tei on the first floor, but it is handled as a single private room for reserved groups of 10 to 20 people. The restaurants are entirely non-smoking.
Baths and Onsen
The communal baths, separate for men and women and each large enough for 100 bathers, both have an open-air bath and a sauna. The water is a simple onsen (hypotonic, weakly alkaline, high-temperature spring). Bathing in a diaper or in clothing such as a swimsuit is not permitted, so children who are not yet out of diapers will use the bathroom in your guest room instead. The Baby Room and the Deluxe Family 6 Bed room, among others, have the bath and toilet in separate spaces. The communal baths are open from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to midnight, and cannot be used between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The hotel's FAQ page and Rakuten Travel still show hours of 6 a.m. to midnight, but a notice was issued in August 2024 announcing a change to the daytime hours of the communal baths, and the times shown on the onsen page and the facility information page are the newer ones. A bathing tax of 250 yen applies separately to guests of junior high school age and older.

From October to December 2026 it is held every Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; there are no reservations, so simply go to the venue. The coin laundry, also on the third floor, is available 24 hours: 400 yen per wash including detergent, and 200 yen for 30 minutes in the dryer. Extending your checkout time can be arranged for an additional charge if you contact the hotel in advance.
Access
A 5-minute walk from JR Beppu Station, and 15 minutes by car from the Beppu I.C. on the Oita Expressway. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and checkout is at 11 a.m. Parking is a free multi-level garage with 300 spaces, with access by stairs only. The multi-level garage takes vehicles up to 2.1 meters high; vehicles over 2.1 meters are directed to the surface parking area, which has a limited number of spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. You can stop briefly in front of the main entrance to load and unload luggage. A notice has been issued that an accommodation tax will be introduced for stays from January 2027 onward, separate from the room rate and the bathing tax.
