Ryochiku Bettei has 40 guest rooms in all, in Japanese-style tatami, Western-style and Japanese-Western layouts. The 20 Standard Japanese-style tatami rooms were all renovated in June 2017 and measure 12 to 14 tatami mats, or 37 sq m, which the ryokan describes as ideal for family stays. They sleep up to 6 guests including children under school age; parties of 7 or more use a Premium Room. The Standard Japanese-Western room is 35 sq m, with semi-double twin beds and a 6-tatami Japanese-style area, and sleeps up to 3 guests including children under school age. Co-sleeping is not accepted, and elementary school children and children under school age can only be booked with futon bedding and meals. The 2 Superior Japanese-Western rooms were renovated in June 2020 and have low beds, a 10-tatami Japanese-style area and twin beds, with futon bedding from the third guest onward. The Premium Room Japanese-Western and Western types, each 75 sq m, are the ryokan's finest, with semi-double beds and a spacious living area. The Premium Rooms also include a 75 sq m twin room type, which is for 1 to 2 guests and does not accept children. The Deluxe Japanese-Western room (75 sq m, one room per day) is on the top floor, with two queen-size low beds and a 10-tatami Japanese-style area; futon bedding is prepared from the third guest onward. Every room has Wi-Fi and a television with unlimited YouTube and movies.
