The Main Building, the Annex and the South Building have 188 rooms in total, made up of Japanese-style tatami rooms, Western-style rooms and Japanese-Western rooms. There are 102 Japanese-style tatami rooms, ranging from 8 to 21 tatami mats, and 49 Japanese-Western rooms, each combining a Japanese-style area of 8 to 16 tatami mats with a Western-style area that has 2 single beds. Western-style twin rooms are in the Annex and the South Building. Reaching the Japanese-Western rooms in the Annex involves an outdoor walkway and a few steps, and the Japanese-Western rooms in the South Building also require walking outdoors, so if you are using a stroller, check which building the room is in before you book. The onsen is an alkaline simple spring that blends two sources, Otaki no Yu and Takara no Yu, and it is open from 3 p.m. to midnight and from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. The men's and women's baths both have baby baths for babies and toddlers. Children who are not yet out of diapers can use the communal bath, but they cannot get into the tubs; guests are asked to use the bathtub in their room instead.
