SEASIDE VILLAGE 13 is a 13-villa resort in Ibaruma, northern Ishigaki Island. Every villa is rented as a whole, with the living room, bedroom, kitchen and laundry area connected. Once the doors are closed, each villa becomes an independent seaside home, so families do not need to worry about nighttime crying or children's voices bothering guests in neighboring rooms.

There are 4 villa types: the 2-Bedroom Villa (97.13 square meters; capacity: 1 to 3 adults), 3-Bedroom Villa (119.34 square meters; capacity: 1 to 4 adults), Superior Villa (118.54 square meters; capacity: 1 to 5 adults; 2 bedrooms plus a 6-tatami Japanese-style room with 2 futons), and Deluxe Villa (137.22 square meters; capacity: 1 to 6 adults; 2 bedrooms plus an 8-tatami Japanese-style room with 3 futon sets; 2 bathrooms). Additional guests may be accommodated in the Superior and Deluxe Villas. Extra beds are also available at JPY 3,000 per night; some villas can accommodate an extra bed, while others cannot. Capacity is based on the number of adults and does not include children sharing existing beds. For babies who are crawling or children whose parents are concerned about falls from a bed, the Superior and Deluxe Villas with Japanese-style rooms where futons can be laid out are options.

Children's Items Available to Borrow Free of Charge at the Front Desk

The children's items available to borrow free of charge at the front desk include cribs, baby bedding, baby bath chairs, diaper pails, strollers, kids' plate sets, kids' chairs, kids loungewear and waterproof sheets. General rental items also include bed guards, step stools and thermometers. Quantities are limited, so it is best to request what you need in advance. Pajamas can also be rented free of charge at the front desk, and children's sizes are available.

Hot water for formula can be prepared using the electric kettles provided in every room. Information about formula-preparation pots, baby bottle sterilizers, and the provision or warming of baby food is not published, so please plan to bring what you need. Each villa is equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, rice cooker, cooking utensils and tableware, making it possible to prepare children's meals using ingredients purchased for the stay.

Year-Round Heated Pool and Ibaruma Beach a 1-Minute Walk Away

The outdoor heated pool operates year-round, except on cleaning and maintenance days, from 9:00 to 20:00. The adult pool is 760 cm wide × 1,360 cm long, with a water depth of 90 to 120 cm. The children's pool is 400 cm wide × 640 cm long, with a water depth of 50 cm. However, there is no lifeguard on duty, and use is at each guest's own responsibility. Children under school age must be accompanied by a guardian. Information about whether children who are not yet out of diapers may use the pool is not published, so please confirm in advance if you are considering using a swim diaper.

Ibaruma Beach is right by the property, a 1-minute walk away. Sun loungers and parasols can be used free of charge, but there is no lifeguard here either, and swimming is at your own risk. The basketball court on the property is also available for free use, and balls can be borrowed free of charge. There is no adventure playground or large play structure. Electric-assist bicycles are available to rent for JPY 2,000 per bicycle per day.

Choose Between a Yakiniku Course and BBQ with Your Own Ingredients

Dinner is served from 17:00 to 20:30. Guests can choose between a course yakiniku meal at the restaurant—the Ishigaki Island Black Wagyu Yakiniku Plan at JPY 5,000 per person or the Special Ishigaki Beef Yakiniku Plan at JPY 10,000 per person—and BBQ grill rental at the outdoor BBQ area for JPY 5,000 per grill, from 12:00 to 20:00, with ingredients brought in by guests. Both options involve self-cooking with no staff cooking assistance, and a minimum of 2 guests is required, and reservations must be made by 15:00 the day before. Breakfast is a daily one-plate meal from 7:00 to 9:00, and lunch is served at the clubhouse lunch cafe from 11:00 to 15:00. Information about children's menus and allergy accommodations is not published. The shop is open from 7:00 to 21:00 and sells light meals, snacks and daily necessities.

Practical Information

Check-in is from 15:00 to 21:00, and checkout is at 10:00. Extending checkout costs JPY 3,000 per hour, and extensions beyond 3 hours are not available. Parking is free for 13 cars, and reservations are not required. Cleaning during the stay is provided for stays of 5 nights or more, and towel changes are available free of charge. The exposure of tattoos and body art is prohibited in the property and pool area, so guests with them must cover them with a rash guard or similar clothing. Small and medium-sized dogs may stay with their owners.
