Rooms
The Seven Stars Resort is a 130 sq m private villa set inside a national park on Ishigaki Island, taking just one group per day. A dedicated concierge and a dedicated chef look after you, and in its all-inclusive style every drink in the in-room refrigerator is free of charge. The villa has two floors. The first floor holds a living-dining room with a double-height ceiling, an island kitchen, a powder room, a jacuzzi and a private pool. On the second floor are an open-air bath with a view and the bedroom, and the rooftop opens onto a 360-degree panorama. The villa sleeps 1 to 4 guests, and the beds are arranged to suit your group: one 340 cm-wide bed for 1 or 2 guests, one 170 cm-wide bed plus two 85 cm-wide beds for 3 guests, and four 85 cm-wide beds for 4 guests. Because the whole villa is reserved for a single group each day, even families with small children can relax without worrying about other guests.

Dinner is a full-course meal blending Japanese and Western cuisine, served in a private dining room, and you can start at any time you like between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Breakfast is a menu that changes daily; at around 8 a.m. it is packed in a basket and delivered by room service to your room's dedicated breakfast hatch. Children from age 0 who have not yet started elementary school are served a special children's plate at dinner, while children of elementary school age and older are served the same dishes as adults. You can also share food from the adults' meals with your child or bring your own food for them. Please note that the resort cannot accommodate food allergies or disliked ingredients, so guests to whom this applies should take care.
Bath and Pool
The second-floor veranda of the villa has an open-air bath with a view. It is not an onsen: this is a room with its own open-air bath, and there is no communal bath. The private pool is 7 meters long and 3 meters wide, with a uniform depth of 120 cm, and there is no shallow pool for children. It is free for staying guests, and when the outside temperature is low it becomes a heated pool at 28 to 32°C, so it can be used all year round.
Family-Friendly Features
The villa takes from 1 to 4 guests, and young children are each counted as one guest. Only one guest of elementary school age or younger can be accommodated. The beach is right on your doorstep, just 50 meters from the villa, but there is no lighting at night, so it is dangerous and entry is prohibited after dark. A three-piece set of marine gear (a parasol, a life jacket and a snorkel) is available to borrow free of charge for playing in the sea during the day.
Access
The resort is about 15 minutes by car from New Ishigaki Airport. A free shuttle service by private car runs from the airport to the hotel. Pickups are between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., and if you let the resort know your arrival flight number and time in advance, staff will meet you at the airport. Check-in is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and checkout is at 12 p.m.
