The Japanese-Western rooms pair an 8-tatami Japanese-style tatami room with a double-bed room, and their barrier-free layout has few changes in floor level, which takes families using a wheelchair into account. The Two-Connected-Room Semi-Special Guest Room (12.5 tatami plus 7.5 tatami) and the Two-Connected-Room Special Guest Room (12.5 tatami plus 10 tatami) are both recommended for families with children, family trips and group travel. The 18-tatami Japanese-style tatami rooms in Kafutei are spacious rooms suited to trips with family and friends, training camps and group travel. The detached Shorintei building, with open-air baths, is made up of 2 premium rooms and 5 deluxe rooms, where you can soak in onsen flowing straight from the source at any hour, 24 hours a day.

Breakfast is normally served at the buffet dining venue, though on some days it is a Japanese set meal instead. For dinner you can choose between a tour buffet using ingredients from Fukushima Prefecture, the creative Japanese restaurant Dining Kazamai, where you dine in partitioned seating, and the yakiniku restaurant Ryori Chaya Asakanosato, which uses smokeless roasters and takes only 9 groups a day. Asakanosato is not fully private, but there are partitions between neighboring tables. In-room dining with kaiseki cuisine is also offered, though the room types it applies to are described inconsistently, so please confirm when you book. Food allergies can be accommodated if you let the ryokan know in advance, but complete removal of the allergen is not guaranteed.
