Overview

Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima is a 510-room resort hotel beside Motoujina Park, facing Setonaikai National Park and Hiroshima Bay. Every room offers views of the Seto Inland Sea. Guests can use Hiroshima Onsen Seto-no-Yu, a guests-only facility with an open-air bath and panoramic views, while a seasonal outdoor pool overlooks the sea. Family-friendly services include cribs, kids' pajamas, diaper bins, children's menus at every restaurant, and hot-water sterilization for baby bottles. Children under age 4 cannot enter the onsen.

Rooms

With 510 rooms in total, the hotel offers views of Hiroshima Bay, Miyajima, and the Seto Inland Sea from every room. Family-friendly options include the Setouchi Resort Floor Connecting Room, made up of two connected twin rooms (23 sq m each, capacity 6); the Standard Floor Luxury Family room with a view bath (53 sq m, capacity 4); and the Premium Resort Floor Junior Suite Japanese room, with a tatami area in one corner (53 sq m, capacity 3). There is also a notice that the connecting rooms' inner doors cannot be opened, so please confirm when booking whether you can move between the rooms. Rooms measuring 53 sq m or more have view baths. All rooms are nonsmoking; humidifiers and irons are available to borrow. Co-sleeping is available for children up to age 5, and the room charge for co-sleeping children is free. Late checkout can be arranged for a fee depending on availability on the day.

Baths and onsen

On the 3rd floor, Hiroshima Onsen Seto-no-Yu is reserved for hotel guests and charges an admission fee. Facilities include a panoramic open-air bath, indoor baths, a bubble bath, and a steam sauna. Hours are 6 a.m. to midnight, with final admission at 11 p.m. with final admission for children at 9 p.m. The fee is JPY 2,000 for adults and JPY 1,000 for children, plus a separate bathing tax. Children under age 4 may not enter, and children ages 4 to 11 must be accompanied by an adult. Boys may use the women's bath and girls may use the men's bath up to age 6. Onsen admission is not included in room-only or breakfast-included plans, and co-sleeping children are charged separately even when they are included in a plan benefit.

Play areas and pool

The outdoor pool operates seasonally from July 1, 2026, through September 24, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., closing at 6 p.m. in September. The fee is JPY 3,500 per adult and JPY 1,500 per child ages 4 to 12 per night; children age 3 and under are free. Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by a guardian. Alongside the 12.5 m-diameter circular pool with a water depth of 1.2 m, there is a 3.0 m-diameter circular toddler pool with a water depth of about 0.35 m, roughly adult knee height. Water guns are available to borrow. Changing rooms cannot be used; guests are asked to change in their rooms. Access

The hotel is about 30 minutes from JR Hiroshima Station by free shuttle bus, with 7 services per day, or 20 minutes by taxi. Parking has 440 spaces and costs JPY 1,000 per vehicle per night. A high-speed boat from the pier in front of the hotel reaches Miyajima in about 26 minutes. There is a sandy beach directly in front of the hotel and another about a 5-minute walk away.
