Overview

ANA Crowne Plaza Hiroshima is a city hotel in central Hiroshima, within walking distance of Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome. Guests can choose from three floor categories—Club, Middle, and Standard—and children up to age 12 stay free when sharing a bed with a parent. The lobby on the first floor has a nursing room, restrooms on floors 1, 3, and 5 have diaper-changing tables, and cribs are free to borrow. There is no communal bath or onsen, so you bathe in the bathroom in your room.

Rooms

Guest rooms are organized into three floor categories—Club, Middle, and Standard—and range from 18 sq m single rooms to spacious rooms for families. On the 21st floor, the 70 sq m Junior Suite Royal can accommodate up to 4 family members or friends when bedding is laid out in its raised, shoes-off area. The 74 sq m Junior Suite Imperial, also on the 21st floor, has a raised area and can accommodate up to 4 guests. When connected to the adjoining 53 sq m Junior Suite View Bath, the two rooms together can accommodate up to 6 guests. Club Floor rooms of 53 sq m or larger can accommodate 3 guests, with space for 1 extra bed. All guest rooms became nonsmoking on January 1, 2026.

Dining

Children are welcome at the hotel's restaurants, including the all-day dining restaurant Frutier, and high chairs are available. Breakfast is served at Frutier and costs 1,650 yen for children ages 4 to 12; children ages 3 and under eat free. Meals for co-sleeping children cost extra and are paid for directly at the restaurant. Every restaurant except The Lounge and Teppanyaki Atago has private rooms, which suit family meals, and room service is available in guest rooms. If anyone in your party cannot eat certain ingredients because of allergies or religious reasons, the hotel will substitute other ingredients where it can, but it needs advance consultation in order to prepare.

Children ages 1 to 12, through the end of elementary school, can join Kids Club Members. Member children eat the Frutier dinner buffet free, and the hotel presents a small whole cake for birthdays and for graduation or school-entry celebrations; both benefits apply only when a parent or guardian is present and only when dining at a restaurant in the hotel. During summer vacation, the hotel also runs Kids Bartender Experience 2026 for children from the middle year of preschool through fourth grade, accompanied by one parent or guardian. Participants make nonalcoholic cocktails and enjoy a lunch buffet together. A parent-child pair costs 6,000 yen, and reservations are limited to 10 pairs per day.

Bathing

There is no onsen, open-air bath, communal bath, or private-hire bath. Every guest room has its own bathroom, so that is where you will bathe with a baby or toddler.

Family-friendly features

The lobby on the first floor has a nursing room, and restrooms on floors 1, 3, and 5 have diaper-changing tables. The hotel says it can warm baby food or formula you bring and provide hot water, though the details are worth confirming before you book. Humidifiers are also available to borrow.

Cribs are free to borrow, but numbers are limited, so request one when you reserve. They are built for infants and have a low guard rail, so they cannot be used for a child who can pull themselves up to stand, and they cannot be set up in Single, City View Semi-Double, Moderate Double, or Compact Twin rooms.

Children up to age 12 generally sleep free in their parents' bed, though adding meals costs extra. Some plans charge co-sleeping elementary school children 100% of the adult rate. Infants stay free only when they take neither meals nor bedding; plans that include either are not accepted for infants. Conditions differ from plan to plan, so check before you book.

Checkout is 11:00 a.m. and can be extended to 6:00 p.m. Guests on the Club Floor may use the Club Lounge, but children of elementary school age and younger cannot use it during the cocktail service from 5:30 p.m. Renovation work on the sixth floor of the hotel runs until late October 2026 and may cause noise and vibration on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Access

The hotel is at 7-20 Naka-machi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima. Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome are a 3-minute walk west along Heiwa Odori, and Hiroshima Station is about a 10-minute drive away. Parking is on basement floors B1 and B2, with 80 spaces at 2,000 yen per night for vehicles under 2.8 m high. An elevator reaches B1, but the only way up from B2 to B1 is the stairs, so take care if you have a stroller.
