forumWhat families say

Rakuten Travel rating 4.6 out of 5 (1,932 reviews). Families traveling with babies report that cribs and strollers could be borrowed free of charge, and that baby wipes and rubber-duck toys were provided. In summer, families could play in the pool with their children, and the dinner buffet also had a kids' curry. On the downside, some guests feel the pool fees are a little high. Others say the water in the spa bath runs hot, making it hard to bathe with children, and that the hotel had no microwave.

Dining

Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet at the fun dining restaurant Coccolare, from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (last order 10 a.m.). Coccolare's lunch and dinner buffets are charged from age 3, with rate categories for adults, seniors (65 and over), children (ages 6 to 12) and young children (ages 3 to 5). If you plan to have dinner at the hotel, booking ahead is recommended because it is expected to be busy. Food allergies must be declared when booking, and dishes will be prepared with allergens removed as far as possible, but this does not apply to the Coccolare buffet. According to the hotel's food allergy information, if you apply at least 5 days before your stay, you can switch to a low-allergen menu that uses none of 29 items, including the specified allergenic ingredients, and each dish at the Coccolare buffet carries an allergen label. There is no dedicated kitchen, so allergy accommodation is not complete. The Japanese restaurant Awami offers kids' meals, such as a gozen (set tray meal) and a set with mini omurice (omelet rice), fried shrimp and a mini Hamburg steak, and Coccolare's dinner buffet has a Kids Corner. Awami has two private tatami rooms with sunken-floor (horigotatsu) seating, available for a separate private-room charge.
