You are also served things that come out of this small way of life, such as honey from Japanese honeybees and homemade jam.
Things to Enjoy with Children
There are goats and chickens on the grounds, so children can spend time with the animals. In the river that runs below the inn you can play in the water and fish, and any fish you catch can be made into tempura and added to your dinner. If you would like, you can also join in about half a day of farm work (Half-Day Harusa), such as rice planting, rice harvesting, mochi pounding or caring for the livestock.
