The 60 guest rooms are designed around the theme of a mountain villa in Higashiyama, with Kyoto's traditional crafts present throughout: Hosoo Nishijin-ori textiles and staggered shelves made from prized Kitayama cedar among them. The standard Superior Twin and Superior Double are 40 sq m for 1-2 guests; the twin has two beds 120 cm wide and the double has one bed 240 cm wide. The 32 sq m Double Room has one double bed 180 cm wide for 1-2 guests, and the 40 sq m Bettei Twin has two beds 120 cm wide. The Superior Triple, for up to 3 guests, is on the second floor and has three beds 105-110 cm wide, one of them an extra bed. The 45 sq m Deluxe Triple also has three beds (two 110 cm wide plus one extra bed), but it adjoins the building to the west and has no view. The north-facing, garden-side Serenity Twin and Garden Double are also 40 sq m, as is the Accessible Room, adapted for accessibility with a light-signal doorbell and an intercom with a monitor. The largest room is the 70 sq m Bettei Suite with a private balcony, which looks out over the garden. Many rooms have child rates set, and up to 4 guests can be booked in one room. Rooms are equipped with a 55-inch 4K LCD television, an air purifier with a humidifying function and a Nespresso machine. All rooms are non-smoking, and a smoking booth is available on the first floor.
