Aman Kyoto is a 26-room resort set in the forest of Takagamine, Kyoto. Rooms are 60 sq m or larger, and each bathroom has a hinoki cypress bath and a shower booth, so young children will mainly bathe in the room. Co-sleeping is free for children who have not yet started elementary school. Children of elementary school age and older cannot co-sleep, but up to one sofa bed can be arranged free of charge. The onsen is for ages 12 and over, and there is no childcare service. Children under 6 cannot dine at the Japanese restaurant Taka-An for dinner.
Rooms
There are 26 guest rooms. The Susuki (pampas grass), Nara (oak) and Kaede (maple) rooms are 60 sq m and sleep 1 to 3 guests. The Takagamine Pavilion is an east-facing, standalone two-bedroom pavilion on higher ground, rented as a whole. Dining
Breakfast is served at The Living Pavilion by Aman from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (last entry 11 a.m.).
