For breakfast you can choose between the Japanese-Western buffet at Top Lounge Orizzonte on the 17th floor and the Japanese breakfast set menu at the Kyoto cuisine restaurant Irifune on the 6th floor; both serve from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. A continental breakfast is also available through room service from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. For food allergies or religious dietary restrictions, you can discuss arrangements with the restaurants by inquiring in advance.

The indoor pool and the adjoining fitness club are limited to ages 18 and over and there is no children's pool, so you cannot use them together with children. The French restaurant Pittoresque is limited to ages 10 and over and has a smart casual dress code, which makes it difficult to use with young children.

Kyoto City Zoo, a big hit with children, is about 3 minutes away by subway plus a walk of about 10 minutes. The parking can accommodate 200 vehicles. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and checkout is at 11 a.m. Checkout time is the same for all plans.
