Meals are a barbecue course supervised by a French chef, enjoyed in a clear dining dome, and allergies can be accommodated if you let the site know when you book. On the grounds you can try harvesting and horseback riding, so there is plenty to fill a day with children. There is no communal bath, and the tents have no bathroom or toilet of their own, so bathing is in a designated private-hire bath in a separate building or in a shared shower, and toilets are shared.
Rooms
The extensive grounds hold 17 glamping tents in all, each one set a generous distance from the next. The rooms you can book are mainly 6 m dome tents (28 sq m, up to 6 guests) and 8 m dome tents (50 sq m, up to 8 guests). Among the 6 m dome tents there is a type where you can stay with your dog and a pondside type standing beside the water, and among the 8 m dome tents there is a barrier-free type for up to 5 guests. There are also onion-shaped lotus bell tents. For bedding, the 6 m dome tents have 2 single beds and 2 semi-double beds and the 8 m dome tents have 4 single beds and 2 semi-double beds, and both come with a sofa. Every tent has heating and air conditioning as well as a Cal-Tech air purifier using photocatalytic technology, along with amenities such as bath towels, toothbrushes, slippers, shampoo and conditioner. Roomwear (pajamas or nightwear) is not provided, so please bring your own. You can pull your car right up beside your tent, which makes it easy to carry things in even when you have a lot of children's luggage, and a cart is available to borrow for hauling bags from the parking area.

Dinner is a barbecue in the style of a Western and French course menu, supervised by French chef Isao Kuroiwa, and breakfast is a morning set that begins with a special mixed juice and is delivered to you. Meals are enjoyed in a clear dining dome, so you can sit down to eat with your children without worrying about other guests. Food allergies can be accommodated; simply let the site know when you book.
Baths
There is no communal bath, and the tents have no bathroom or toilet. For bathing you use either a designated private-hire bath in a separate building or a shared shower, and with some tents it is a shower rather than a shared bath. The private-hire bath is a 4- to 7-minute walk from the tents (you can also drive there), and the shared toilets are a 1- to 3-minute walk away; from the pondside tents it is a 1-minute walk to a portable toilet and a 3-minute walk to the separate men's and women's toilets. Since you will be walking outside to reach a toilet or the baths in the middle of the night as well, families with young children can make things easier by weighing up these distances when choosing a tent. The 8 m dome tents have a heated bathtub next to the room, but swimwear must be worn when using it, and you cannot wash your body or hair there. About 5 minutes away by car is Kaizuka Ibuki Onsen, which staying guests can use free of charge (the free use is limited to one visit, according to the site's information), including before check-in and after checkout on the same day. It is open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and is closed Monday through Thursday.
