Baths and Onsen
The onsen water is piped in from Oku-Dogo Onsen. There is an open-air bath on the top floor, and on the third floor a rock bath (men's), a cypress bath (women's) and a communal bath for men and women. All of them are free to use. The open-air bath is open to men every morning from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and on weekdays from 4 p.m. to midnight, and it is women-only on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 p.m. to midnight. The third-floor communal bath, rock bath and cypress bath are open to both men and women every day from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to midnight. The spring water is an alkaline simple spring, a sodium ion spring and a simple hydrogen sulfide spring.
