Meals are served in the semi-private rooms of the private dining area Takeshi, and for children who have not yet started elementary school, sashimi or grilled fish can be prepared separately if you talk to the inn in advance. Rooms
This is a small inn with just 6 rooms, and only the detached room Hatsuko has its own indoor bath. Hatsuko is a two-story wooden room in the style of a villa. On the first floor there is a tea room and a study facing the garden, with a private wooden tub bath at the back. The bedroom is upstairs, and the room sleeps up to 5 guests. Shirasagi, on the first floor of the main building, is a spacious 20-tatami room built with few changes in floor level, and it sleeps up to 6 guests. The second floor of the main building has three rooms for up to 3 guests each, made up of an 8-tatami living area and a loft bedroom. There is also Teiregi, for up to 2 guests, with a 4-tatami living area and a loft bedroom; because there are many stairs up to the bedroom, it is described as better suited to younger guests.
Dining
Meals are served in the six semi-private rooms of the private dining area Takeshi. Dinner is from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (last seating at 7:30 p.m.) and breakfast is from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The dishes feature fish from the Seto Inland Sea and home-grown vegetables, and breakfast is made up of 25 different items. Children of elementary school age and older pay the same rate as adults and are served the same meal, and there is no dedicated children's menu. For children who have not yet started elementary school, sashimi or grilled fish can be prepared separately if you talk to the inn in advance.
Baths
Taniya has no communal bath. Instead, its three baths, Yuhime, Yuyama and Yuzuki, are all used as private-hire baths. They are fed by 100% piped Dogo Onsen water flowing straight from the source, and you can use them free of charge as often as you like during your stay whenever they are vacant. The spring water is an alkaline simple spring. Because all three indoor baths are private-hire, you never share them with other guests, which makes them easy to use with small children. If you stay in the detached room Hatsuko, you can also use its own indoor bath, giving you up to 4 baths to enjoy together with the private-hire baths.

It is about 20 minutes by car from the Matsuyama IC or the Kawauchi IC on the Matsuyama Expressway, and about 30 minutes by airport bus from Matsuyama Airport to Dogo Station. There is parking for 7 cars in front of and behind the building; no reservation is needed, and the charge is 700 yen per car (500 yen until September 2025).
