Overview
Dake Onsen Yuinosato Azumakan is an onsen ryokan in Dake Onsen, with Mount Adatara rising behind it. Its highlights are Bijin no Yu, an acidic hot spring flowing directly from the source at a spa first opened 1,200 years ago, and Shokusaisai Yui no Ichiraku, a buffet of about 50 dishes. During the summer school holidays, an indoor pool and an ennichi festival fair are also held. The Western-style Tosen rooms come as a twin (two beds, 120 cm x 200 cm, plus one sofa bed) and a double (one bed, 160 cm x 200 cm), along with connecting rooms made up of two adjoining rooms (74 sq m). The Japanese-style tatami Shinonome rooms come in two types: 12.5 tatami mats for 6 guests and 10 tatami mats for 5 guests. The special room is a corner room with two adjoining rooms of 12.5 and 6 tatami mats, with two low beds in the bedroom, a washlet toilet and a view bath. All rooms are non-smoking.

Dinner is a buffet at Shokusaisai Yui no Ichiraku, with about 50 dishes ranging from regional specialties to creative cuisine. The live kitchen offers freshly made dishes. It contains 153.5 mg of metasilicic acid and is known as Bijin no Yu, the beauty bath. Alongside the communal bath Haiku no Yu there are two open-air baths clad in hinoki cypress, Tsukimi no Yu and Hanami no Yu, plus a sauna. Guests with tattoos, including temporary tattoo stickers, and guests who are intoxicated cannot bathe.

By car, it is about 15 minutes from the Nihonmatsu IC on the Tohoku Expressway via National Route 459, and there are 100 free parking spaces. By train, transfer to the Tohoku Main Line at Koriyama Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen; from Nihonmatsu Station it is about 20 minutes on a public bus to the Dake Onsen bus stop. A shuttle from Nihonmatsu Station is also available and must be reserved at least 3 days in advance. Adatara Kogen Ski Resort is 10 minutes away by car, with shuttle service.
