Dining
Dinner is a Japanese kaiseki set meal, with guests seated in 30-minute intervals between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Both dinner and breakfast are served in the large dining hall. Baths and Onsen
The inn has separate communal baths for men and women, plus a garden-style open-air bath. The water flows directly from the source and is a colorless, clear simple spring of mild character. Some water is added to adjust the temperature, only to the extent that it does not impair the quality of the spring water. The baths are open from 3 p.m. to midnight, and again the next morning from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The communal bath tubs have handrails, and the communal bath is also fitted with a baby bed. A bathing tax of 150 yen per person applies separately for overnight stays.
