Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nara is a city hotel about a 3-minute walk from the west exit of JR Nara Station. The Standard Double is 16.50 sq m for up to 2 guests, with one bed measuring 140 cm by 195 cm by 46 cm, and the Standard Twin is 16.41 sq m for up to 2 guests, with two beds measuring 95 cm by 195 cm by 46 cm. The Superior Twin is 26.36 sq m for up to 3 guests and has one 110 cm bed and one 140 cm bed; because one bed is 140 cm wide, it is easier for a co-sleeping child to rest alongside a parent. The Superior Twin (Trundle) is 26.41 sq m for up to 3 guests, with three beds in total: twin beds measuring 110 cm by 203 cm plus a trundle bed measuring 97 cm by 188 cm. Opening the connecting door to the adjoining room allows the two rooms together to accommodate up to 6 guests. Free Wi-Fi is provided in every room, as is an air purifier with a humidifying function.

Breakfast is served at the first-floor restaurant Asuka, a Japanese-Western buffet featuring fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables. It runs from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., with last entry at 9:30 a.m. The charge is 2,200 yen for junior high school students and older and 1,100 yen for elementary school children, and it is free for children under school age. Local dishes such as Nara somen noodles and morning rice porridge sometimes appear on the buffet, and the selection varies by season. Room service is not offered.

On the second floor is Nara Wakakusa no Yu, a natural onsen fed by the hotel's own spring source, drawn from about 500 m underground. In both the men's and women's baths, the washing area has two-seat parent-and-child booths where a parent and child can sit together. Boys accompanying a guardian into the women's bath and girls accompanying a guardian into the men's bath are permitted only for children under school age, and children who are not yet out of diapers (not yet toilet-trained) are asked to refrain from bathing. A bathing tax of 150 yen per night applies separately for guests age 12 and over. Guests with tattoos may bathe only if the tattoo can be covered with a tattoo cover seal, 80 by 100 mm, available at the front desk.
