For infants and toddlers, the rate depends on meals and bedding: 50% of the adult rate with both meals and bedding, 3,300 yen with bedding but no meals, 4,400 yen with meals but no bedding, and 1,100 yen with neither.
Can our elementary school child go into the communal bath with a parent of the opposite sex?

No. From the first grade of elementary school onward, children cannot use the changing room or bath of the opposite sex.

A baby bed is set up in the communal bath, and a baby bed and a baby bath chair are provided in the women's bath only. Families can also choose a guest room with its own open-air bath and soak together without worrying about other guests.

Elementary school children, both lower and upper grades, are served a children's course meal, and children who have not yet started elementary school and are co-sleeping are served a kids' meal. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine using seafood from the Sea of Japan and produce from Niigata, served from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in a banquet hall or a private dining room, and breakfast is a buffet at the view restaurant on the 7th floor. For meal changes due to allergies, please call the ryokan directly; in cases of severe symptoms, the ryokan may have to decline for safety reasons.
