Rooms are mainly Japanese-style tatami rooms, with Japanese-Western rooms and rooms with beds also available, and some plans offer children's rates. There are 21 Japanese-style tatami rooms of 10 to 15 tatami mats, 8 Japanese-style bedrooms with 2 beds set within a 15-tatami-mat Japanese-style room, and 2 Japanese-Western rooms with the Japanese and Western areas separated (a 6-tatami-mat Japanese-style room plus 2 beds). The 6 corner special Japanese-style rooms (12.5 plus 4.5 tatami mats, or 10 plus 8 tatami mats) sleep 1 to 6 guests, and some plans for them offer children's rates. Children of elementary school age and under cannot stay in the top-floor Premium Suite, Suite or Special Twin, all of which have their own open-air bath.

Children of elementary school age and under are served a kids' set meal. If you would like your child to have the same kaiseki course as the adults, book them as an adult regardless of age. Meals are served either in the dining room or in a private dining room, and each plan states where meals are served. The semi-private dining room also has a raised tatami seating area, making it easy to use even for larger groups. Regarding allergies, the kitchen cannot change cooking methods, substitute specified ingredients, or prepare finely chopped food. If it is judged difficult to provide a menu that accommodates a major allergy, the ryokan may decline to serve meals.

It is about 80 minutes to Tateyama Station on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Free parking is available for 50 cars. If you call ahead, staff will pick you up at nearby Unazuki Onsen Station.
