Niseko Inn of Yotei Raku Suisan is an onsen inn looking out toward Mount Yotei, where all 18 rooms are detached and each has its own onsen bath fed by free-flowing spring water. Rooms
All 18 rooms are separate, detached guest rooms, and each has an onsen bath fed by free-flowing spring water. Yama no Ma, which looks out toward Mount Yotei, is a 75 sq m twin room for 1-2 guests, with two beds measuring 140 cm wide by 195 cm long. Mizu no Ma, a 95 sq m Japanese-Western room made up of a tatami area and a Western-style room, sleeps 1-4 guests and works well for families. Every room has a front-loading washer-dryer, which helps on longer stays. Rooms have underfloor heating in winter and air conditioning in summer.
Dining
Breakfast is a Japanese set meal served at Yukiaitei from 7 to 9 a.m., and dinner is a creative course menu at Yukiaitei served in two seatings starting between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Requests for food allergies, vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free meals can be accommodated as far as possible if made at least 7 days before the stay. Keep in mind, though, that the same kitchen and cooking equipment are used for all dishes, so trace amounts of allergens may be present.
Baths and Onsen
Each room has an onsen bath fed by free-flowing spring water, with a wide window that opens onto views of Mount Yotei while you soak. The spring water is a sodium chloride and bicarbonate spring, said to help with muscle and joint pain. There is no communal bath and no private-hire bath; the onsen is available only in the guest-room baths, so families can take their time bathing on their own.
Family-Friendly Features
Children ages 5 and under stay free of charge, up to one child per adult, and co-sleeping is limited to 2 children per room. Infants who need meals or bedding cannot be accommodated, and the free rate applies only when neither meals nor bedding are included. Children ages 6 and over pay the adult rate. Pets cannot stay, and babysitting is not offered.
Access
The inn is about 15 minutes by car from JR Kutchan Station and about 150 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport. If you arrive by JR, a free shuttle from Kutchan Station is available and must be reserved at least 7 days in advance. A free shuttle to the Niseko Grand Hirafu ski area is available as well. Parking for 17 cars is free, and no reservation is required.
