On the first floor is the Green Leaf Onsen, Bijin no Yu, fed by the hotel's own source and flowing straight from it without recirculation. The water pours in at 270 liters per minute and contains a large amount of natural salts with strong soothing properties; because it is also very good for the skin, it has long been known affectionately as Bijin no Yu, the "beauty bath." The spring water is a sodium bicarbonate and sulfate spring, said to help with muscle pain, skin beauty and recovery from fatigue. There is a communal bath and an open-air bath as well. A bathing tax of 150 yen per adult applies separately, and yukata are available only when using the onsen.
