Overview
LINK FOREST is a lodging and training facility about a 10-minute walk from Tama Center Station, and individual guests can stay here as well. All 183 rooms are at least 25 sq m, even the singles, and each has a bathroom and toilet in separate spaces for a roomy feel. Co-sleeping is free for up to one child who has not yet started elementary school per regular bed, though no bedding or amenities are provided. There are no children's rates: guests of elementary school age and older pay the adult rate and are counted as one guest each.
Rooms
All 183 rooms are at least 25 sq m, even the single rooms, with the bath and toilet in separate spaces for a roomy layout. Sizes, bedding and capacity vary by room type. The Single Room (25 sq m, one bed 110 cm wide by 200 cm long) sleeps one adult plus up to one co-sleeping child. The Compact Twin Room (25 sq m, one single bed 110 cm wide by 200 cm long and one sofa bed 100 cm wide by 180 cm long) sleeps two adults plus up to one co-sleeping child. The Twin A Room (38 sq m, two beds 110 cm wide by 195 cm long) and the Twin B Room (31 sq m, two beds 110 cm wide by 195 cm long) each sleep two adults plus up to two co-sleeping children. The beds are fixed in place and cannot be moved, so two of them cannot be pushed together to make one wide sleeping surface. Twin rooms hold a maximum of two adults, so no room can be booked for three or more guests, and extra beds are not available. Parties of three or more need to book more than one room. There is also a Universal Room that can be used with a wheelchair, with no steps inside and a combined toilet and bathroom fitted with handrails. It cannot be booked through accommodation reservation sites, so if you would like to use it, please call the front desk to apply. Checkout is normally by 10 a.m., but if the room is free it can be extended until 12 p.m. at the latest, with an extension fee of 1,100 yen per hour, consumption tax included.
Dining
Meals are served in the third-floor restaurant: breakfast is a buffet, and dinner is a set menu that changes daily. Meals must be reserved in advance - a plan with breakfast, with dinner, or with both must be booked by 3 days before your check-in date, and meals cannot be added at the restaurant on the day. If you have booked a plan with breakfast, a co-sleeping child can enjoy breakfast with you, but dinner cannot be added for them. Lunch is not provided for an accommodation-only stay; it is provided for those using the facility for training programs. Allergy accommodations are not offered for individual guests, so if anyone in your party has a food allergy, please confirm with the facility in advance before deciding. The restaurant has high chairs available to borrow, but numbers are limited, so requests cannot always be met.
Family-Friendly Features
Co-sleeping is free for up to one child who has not yet started elementary school per regular bed, and no bedding or amenities are provided in the room. Note that co-sleeping is not possible on the sofa bed in the Compact Twin Room. If you are bringing a co-sleeping child, check the capacity for your room type and enter the number and ages of your children in the question or request field on the booking site. If there is no such field, or if anything is unclear, call the front desk to confirm; if you book beyond the room's capacity, an additional room charge applies when space is available, and depending on availability you may not be able to stay. There are no children's rates: children of elementary school age and older pay the adult rate and are counted as one guest each. Guests of elementary school age and older are subject to the accommodation charge, and a child under school age is also subject to it if bedding is prepared for them. Cribs and bed guards are not available to borrow, and children's amenities, nightwear and pillows are not provided either, so please bring anything you need. Each guest floor has a microwave, so you can warm baby food and drinks. Humidifiers are available to borrow at the front desk in limited numbers. There is a 24-hour convenience store on the first floor for anything you run short of at night. Self-service laundry rooms on the fifth and sixth floors have washing machines and dryers that are free to use (bring your own detergent; the fifth floor is for men and the sixth floor for women). Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Children under 15 (junior high school age and younger) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to stay. If you will arrive after 10 p.m., you need to contact the front desk in advance; without that call, your booking may be treated as canceled.
Access
The facility is about a 10-minute walk from Tama Center Station on the Keio and Odakyu lines, and about an 8-minute walk from Tama Center Station on the Tama Monorail. There is free parking on the grounds, but spaces are limited, allocated first-come, first-served, and cannot be reserved. Parking may only be used between check-in and checkout; parking before check-in or after checkout is not possible, and paid extensions are not accepted. Luggage can be held at the front desk before check-in and after checkout, on the same day only. Sanrio Puroland is about 900 m away, roughly a 13-minute walk, making this an easy base for a visit. There are also stay plans, available only when booked directly with the facility, that include a one-day Sanrio Puroland passport (room only, with breakfast, or with breakfast and dinner). The passport is the same for adults and children and does not cover co-sleeping children, so for children aged 3 and over you need to purchase a passport separately and make an admission reservation.
