Most rooms are suites of 81 sq m or larger, and even the twin rooms are a roomy 56 sq m. A generous range of baby items, including cribs and baby baths, is available to borrow free of charge. Dinner and breakfast are both buffets, with menu items for children as well.

Guest rooms range from 56 sq m to 153 sq m and include the Superior Twin (56 sq m, 2 guests), the 4-Bed Suite (81 sq m, 4 guests), the Japanese-Western Suite (81 sq m, 5 guests) and the Premium Family Suite (153 sq m, 9 guests). Most rooms are suites of 81 sq m or larger, and even the twin rooms are a roomy 56 sq m. Beds are mainly 110 cm wide by 200 cm long. Each room type has a set capacity, but children under 3 who do not use bedding may stay beyond that capacity. All in-room baths use heated water, and some rooms have an open-air bath fed by the natural onsen.

Dinner is served from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Tsumagoi TANTO in the buffet restaurant Asama, and breakfast is likewise a buffet, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Dinner includes corners for nigiri sushi, Joshu beef teppanyaki and tempura, as well as a children's corner. Breakfast has a kids' corner too, along with a burger station where you can build your own original burger, a seafood rice-bowl corner and a teppanyaki corner for highland vegetables. Food allergies are handled by labeling allergens on the menu. For room-only stays, breakfast is 2,200 yen for adults, 1,600 yen for elementary school children, and free for children who have not yet started elementary school.
Baths and Onsen
The natural onsen Onioshi Onsen, which wells up at the foot of Mount Asama, can be enjoyed in the communal bath and the open-air bath. The spring water is a sodium sulfate and bicarbonate spring, used at 100% from the source. The communal bath is open from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. (until 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and from 2 p.m. to midnight, with last admission at 11 p.m.; the sauna is available from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. No age limit is set for children, but care is needed for babies and toddlers who are not yet out of diapers. Under local ordinance, children of roughly 7 and over cannot take part in mixed bathing. The bathing tax is 150 yen per adult, and children under 12 are exempt.

Access
The nearest station is JR Karuizawa Station, connected by a free shuttle bus in about 40 to 50 minutes; reservations are required. By car, it is about 60 minutes from the Usui-Karuizawa IC on the Joshin-etsu Expressway. Studless tires are required in winter, from around mid-November to late April. The grounds have free parking for up to 150 cars. The shuttle bus has no toilet on board, so plan to use one before boarding.
