Villa Shewlin is a set of whole-house rental cottages surrounded by the nature of Kita-Karuizawa and Tsumagoi. Eight types of detached buildings, including log houses built with timber imported from Sweden and Finland and villas with open-ceiling living rooms, accommodate up to 8 guests. Every building has a kitchen, bath and toilet, along with barbecue facilities you can use even in the rain, so families with children and groups can settle in like they would at their own vacation home, without worrying about other guests. The private-hire hinoki cypress bath SPA HITOU, filled with water drawn from underground streams flowing from Mount Asama, is popular as well.
Villa Shewlin is a whole-house rental cottage property within Prince Land Hana no Machi in Tsumagoi-mura, Gunma, in the Kita-Karuizawa area. It is about 50 minutes by car from the Usui-Karuizawa IC and about 50 minutes by public bus from Karuizawa Station, in a quiet setting surrounded by nature at the foot of Mount Asama.

It is a 1-2 minute walk from each cottage and costs 1,000 yen per group for 50 minutes, by advance reservation, with sessions running from the top of each hour to 50 minutes past.
