Eight types of detached buildings, including log houses built with timber imported from Sweden and Finland and villas with open-ceiling living rooms, accommodate up to 8 guests. Every building has a kitchen, bath and toilet, along with barbecue facilities you can use even in the rain, so families with children and groups can settle in like they would at their own vacation home, without worrying about other guests. Villa Shewlin is a whole-house rental cottage property within Prince Land Hana no Machi in Tsumagoi-mura, Gunma, in the Kita-Karuizawa area. It is a 1-2 minute walk from each cottage and costs 1,000 yen per group for 50 minutes, by advance reservation, with sessions running from the top of each hour to 50 minutes past.
