Overview
Kakureisen is a 9-room onsen ryokan in Furuyu Onsen in Fuji-cho, Saga. Guests can enjoy two kinds of onsen: the communal bath known as the Natural Sand Bath, where the water wells up through the bedrock, and a private-hire bath looking out over the garden. The group Japanese-style tatami room accepts children, though some rooms accept only children of elementary school age and above, and some are limited to adults. Free parking is available for 15 cars, but the ryokan does not offer a shuttle.
Rooms
There are 9 guest rooms in all. The garden-facing Crane Premium rooms, Koki and Kiju, are 12-tatami rooms with 2 Simmons beds; up to 2 guests use the beds, and futon bedding is added from 3 guests. Beiju is a purely Japanese-style room with 7 tatami mats plus a 2-tatami antechamber, furnished entirely with futon bedding. Hakuju, which has a king-size bed and a 50-inch 4K television, sleeps up to 4 guests, and children must be of elementary school age or above. Kusu, the group Japanese-style tatami room on the first floor of the main building, is a 20-tatami hall that accommodates up to 10 guests, children included, and is furnished entirely with futon bedding; parties of 4 or more can also use the 12-tatami Matsu alongside it by arranging in advance. In the annex, Tsuru is an 18-tatami Japanese-Western room with its own scenic private-hire bath and a king bed, sleeping up to 3 guests. Also in the annex, Kame is a 15-tatami room with its own scenic private-hire bath, but it is limited to adults and sleeps up to 2 guests. Checkout is at 10 a.m., and can be extended for 2,000 yen per room per hour, until 11 a.m. at the latest.

Dinner and breakfast are served in the large hall in the detached building or in the dining areas. There is also a fully private dining room seating up to 12 guests, where you can eat without worrying about those around you. Breakfast features Hinohikari rice grown in Saga Prefecture, with local ingredients prepared in a gentle style. Meals accommodating allergies can also be arranged.
