Meals are a creative kaiseki course made with local Gunma vegetables and local fish, built around Joshu-brand Akagi beef. Private-room dining plans use private dining venues such as Irohatei and Hifumian, while banquet-hall plans are served in the large banquet hall. Children's meals come either as a kaiseki course at 70% of the adult rate or as a lunch-style meal at 50% of the adult rate. Allergies are accommodated as far as possible, with specified ingredients swapped for something else or left out. However, the ryokan cannot accommodate three or more allergies for one person, egg used as a binder in a dish, or an inability to eat dashi stock made from seafood. Requests to change ingredients must be made by 3 days before your stay.
Baths and Onsen
The spring water is a simple spring containing metasilicic acid, said to help with recovery from fatigue and to be good for the skin. The rooftop open-air baths Roman and Honoka alternate between men and women; they are baths for enjoying the view, so you simply soak and there is no washing area. The top-floor private-hire open-air bath Nagomi is sized for 2 people and is recommended for families and couples too, but it costs extra, requires a reservation and has no washing area. The ryokan also has a communal bath, Rakurakuyu, which alternates between men and women and offers 2 types of indoor bath. The bathing tax is 150 yen for adults and free for children.

The ryokan is about a 1-minute walk from the Ikaho Onsen bus stop at the end of the public bus route, and 20 minutes by car from the nearest interchange, Shibukawa-Ikaho IC. There is free parking for 100 cars; staff move guests' cars to the parking area, and cars cannot be taken in and out frequently. If you take the Joshu Yumeguri-go express bus from the New South Exit of Shinjuku Station, get off at the Ikaho Ishidangai stop and call the ryokan, and they will come to pick you up.
