The Standard Room (futon) has an 8-tatami-mat main room plus a dining area, measures 43 to 51 sq m and sleeps 1 to 3 guests. Dinner and breakfast are both served in your room, with kaiseki cuisine (a traditional multi-course meal) that makes the most of local ingredients. Dinner starts between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., and every dish is served by 9 p.m. Breakfast is a Japanese-style meal of fresh raw eggs from Okera Farm, freshly made tofu and other dishes arranged in a Wajima lacquerware bento box, served from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Children's meals are available, and items you can use during your stay, such as children's cutlery, are on hand too; you can ask about borrowing them. Meals accommodating allergies can be arranged.
Baths and Onsen
Beniya owns 4 spring sources of its own, and its 100% natural onsen water wells up at 70 liters per minute at about 70°C. The spring water is a sodium-calcium chloride spring. There are 2 communal baths and 2 open-air baths, available from 3 p.m. until 10 a.m. the next morning, and water is added to adjust the temperature. Every room has its own semi-open-air bath fed straight from the source, so you can bathe whenever you like without watching the clock. Children who are not yet out of diapers (not yet toilet-trained) are asked not to use the communal baths and to use the bath in your room instead. Children aged 7 and over are asked not to bathe in the communal bath for the opposite sex. Guests with tattoos cannot use the communal baths.
