Emerald Beach is about a 5-minute walk away, so beach strolls and sunset watching are easy to fit in. En is a private whole-house villa standing quietly among the fukugi tree lanes that spread through the village of Bise in Motobu, in the north of Okinawa's main island. It is a renovated Ryukyu traditional house with a white exterior, and at the entrance a shisa, Okinawa's guardian lion-dog, greets you. It is about 1 hour 30 minutes by car from Naha Airport, and well placed for outings to popular spots such as the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and the Kouri Bridge.
