Oaks Canal Park Hotel Toyama is a city hotel in a handy spot a 2-minute walk from the north exit of Toyama Station, immediately north of Aubade Hall. Its 105 rooms range from 17 sq m Comfort Semi-Double rooms to the 70 sq m Executive Suite. There is no communal bath or onsen, so bathing is in your own guest room. Children who have not yet started elementary school (under 6) can co-sleep for a facility fee of 1,000 yen, and cribs are available in limited numbers, so a phone reservation in advance is required.

There are 8 room types, from the Comfort Semi-Double (17 sq m, for 1-2 guests, with one bed 122 cm wide by 203 cm long) and the Moderate Twin (20 sq m, with two beds 122 cm wide by 203 cm long) to the Superior Twin (26 sq m), the Deluxe Suite (54 sq m) and the Executive Suite (70 sq m). Some of the 26 sq m twin rooms can take one extra bed and sleep 3 guests. Wi-Fi is free in every room, and a humidifier, air purifier, thermometer and voltage transformer are among the items available to borrow.
Dining
Breakfast is served at the restaurant Evous from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. You choose a main course from a Japanese-style plate, a Western-style plate, eggs Benedict or vegan curry, and help yourself to rice, bread, miso soup, soup, salad and more from the half-buffet corner. The price is 2,500 yen per person, including tax and service charge. On a plan that includes breakfast, the half-buffet is free for children under school age when an adult has breakfast.
